Michele Aucello Photography

Michele Aucello is a landscape photographer who lives in Leelanau County and specialized in night photography. She has exhibited in the Dennos Museum, the Oliver Arts Center and Glen Arbor Arts Center. Her work can be seen in the State Saving Banks in Empire and Traverse City, The Dune Climb Inn motel, and is for sale in the Arbor Gallery, Ruth Conklin Gallery, Inn and Trail Gourmet, and Glen Arbor Wines in Glen Arbor. Her image of aurora in the Sleeping Bear Dunes appears as the month of May in the National Parks Foundation calendar, 2026 and of Overlook #9 in Traverse Magazine’s Sleeping Bear feature, July, 2026.  She credits Michigan Aurora Chasers and National Parks at Night for fostering her love of night photography.
